How do you remove a series and series #
I've entered in error a few series entries.
Alas, I can replace them only with a " ", but not get rid of them or the #. How do I fix it? |

Right-click, "edit metadata information", "edit metadata individually"

Try the following:
right-click on each item and select Edit Metadata From here you should be able to delete the series and the series number. I know I've done this before. You may even be able to select more than one file and edit in bulk but I'm not entirely sure. |

In Edit Meta data
Highlight the Series name. Press the delete key Save Don't worry about the series number. It gets suppressed/deleted because series is blank |

I ran into this on a few occasions. I had to enter a fake series, set the number to 1, then remove the series to get things to sort right. |

Calibre Windows, the series is blank in the library view, where it counts Just tested on Ubuntu Karmic, Calibre 6.13. Deleting the series name and the library shows nothing in the series column. |
