Any software better than sony ebook library?

I keep on having problems with the sony ebook library, I was wondering if there is any other software to sync books to the reader? I know calibre is good, but I cant create a collection like the sony library. I want something that allows me to create collection and it is better than the sony library.

You can create collections in Calibre just fine. Just set series information or assign tags to the books.

Will the books be listed in the collection option in the menu screen if I use calibre?

Yep. Just like if you'd set up collections in Sony.

The tags transfer well into collections on the reader and can be sorted more easily in calibre than in the Sony software.
