Calibre as front end to content server

Is it possible to configure Calibre to act as a front end to a content server on the web?

I have several family members who are not too technically savvy and would like to give them the ability to connect their reader device to Calibre and be able to manage their device content with Calibre.

It has that functionality.
Right click the Connect/Share icon to configure it.

All the Client needs is a standard browser like Firefox

Calibre has a function to "Get Books" that allow you to connect to some predefined content servers on the web, as well as book stores.

Calibre also has a built in content server. So if the books are available in calibre, you can activate and connect to the content server to browse and download books.

I have a calibre server running on the web. I would like to use calibre to connect to it to allow use of the ability of calibre to show what books are on a kindle and be able to send more books there or remove them from there. neither of the aforementioned ideas seem to let me do that.

I believe there's work being done to make a multi-user or server/client version of Calibre. Unfortunately, I reckon it's something that's very difficult to do so I don't think it'll be available any time soon.

Does anyone know where the server logs are physically saved? Is there a function to purge the logs? Thanks!
