pViewer 0.1 for DR1000 -> pdf viewer w/ reflow

While waiting for IRex to finish the integration of ADE for the DR1000 to get pdf reflow , try this one; check the pictures first.
It's a port of the pViewer (formerly pPdf) application developed for iLiad , see: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36380
Since I don't have a DR1000 unit (nor plan to ever buy one ) the porting was done using the emulator, on which the software runs well. Let me know if there are problems with the real thing.

pViewer_02:
Fix for a bug introduced during porting, which results in too many unnecessary line changes.

enjoy

Thanks!! It works! Great job, cartesius

Now if you could just find someone who could fix the refresh screen issues with Evince https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55816

I have installed it without any problems, it works very well.
You have done a wonderful job, Cartesius, thank you very much.
Is there the possibility to go in fullscreen mode?
Thanks again.

Maybe I've installed it incorrectly, but when I run the programme I read the key instructions but I have to swap the Left and Right keys.

Thanks! I think I´ll stay in my own yard rather than stepping into Evince´s.

You are kind to consider you might have done something wrongly, as - most likely, I made some mistake, but there´s no way one could incorrectly install the program. Can´t help, though: I have no real reader unit, just relying on the emulator.
Could it be that you set the left/right keys swapped?

wishing I could advise better,

All I did was copy the 2 files to the Program folder and then used the shortcut icon to start it.
I still find that where the initial displayed instructions talk about L & R keys, I have to switch them around though. Otherwise it works fine.

1.7.1. When I start teh application I get a set of key allocations in what looks like a pdf but in the very first tab (ie where the floder tab is normally located) and I cannot see anyway to open docs.

It may be that I have just missed something obvious.

cartesius is it possible for you to create an alternate image viewer for the DR1000? unlike some other ebook readers my irex DR doesn't support adjusting brightness and contrast for loaded images. I recently bought a Hanvon N516 and even though it is only 8 greyscale vs the DR's 16 greyscale images can be made to look better\clearer by adjusting brightness\contrast. Even the ezreader with 4 greyscale is better especially with classic comic strips.

You need to use the keys in order to operate the program; even to open the file and exit.
The app replacing the first tab is the result of my inept coding, but you'll soon get the official pdf reader from IRex, anyway.
