Hello from Maryland
Came across this forum via a Google search. (I was looking for title suggestions for the 100 free eBooks Classics I got from Sony.
I just got a 505 in blue. Totally new to readers, but I'm a gadget guy do I'm happy. So far I mostly dowload forum threads for offline reading. I'll poke around here and see what's new. |

Welcome to MobileRead, c-not-k!
Before you download your 100 classics, check out the e-book uploads section here, you can probably extend your 100 classics further that way. |

Hi c-not-k and welcome to the Forum. I bought a 505 (blue) at Pentagon City Mall at 40% off a week ago. It was a window display and I am delighted with it.
Be sure and let us know how you like yours |

Well roughly two weeks into it and I'm very happy. I got a 2 Gb SD card and I store lots of downloaded Web forum threads on it. I D/L "show printable versions" to Word and then to PDF. (That way I can clean up the extra whitespace & resize pictures.) I have about 300 Mb of content to read already.
I found a PDF to LRF converter here that works nicely. I've converted a user manual. After I'm done with my current paperback (Sahara, by Clive Cussler) I'll buy another one for the reader, and see how it is to actually read a novel on it. So far I'm pleased as punch. Folks I've shown it to are quite impressed with the screen. |

I got a 2gig card at Staples for $36 (regularly $59) and am very pleased with it. Am storing most of my books, especially the Classics, on it.
