8.65 Calibre style broken on XP

Just noticed that the Calibre styling in Look and Feel now gets ignored on XP SP3

It will get ignored if calibre detects your computer is not capable of rendering the style, for example if the color depth you are running at is < 32 bpp which is often the case with older XP installs.

The only reason I noticed it was because it recently disappeared. Truthfully, I don't know when it disappeared I only looked closer because theducks mentioned it.

My machine is a i7 2600 and is set to true color 32 bit.

Hmm maybe there's a bug in the detection routine, let me see if I can reproduce it on my windows box.

Sigh, stupid typo. I'll re-upload a fixed build 0.8.65 in an hour or so.

I had noticed it had stopped working. when I went to right click the scroll handle and nothing else on my Desktops had changed. It may be an older XP system, but it has a decent Video card and a 800MHz FSB P4

HI!

I have a similar problem with 0.8.6.5 on Slackware Linux: using the Calibre style bring up a really ugly look! Calibre uses the qt librares and even if I use Xfce (gtk2 based) I can easily set up a Clearlooks-like style with qtconfig command to solve the situation (or even use the standard look)..
The point is that with previous version I could select the Calibre style and use it without any other trick!

Do I have to re-download 0.8.6.5 version again? It seems the same problem, doesn't it?
