My sincere apologies.
I kind of mixed djvu with the cbz/cbr files. I just rechecked and cbz/cbr comics work very well.
The comic i was referring was actually a djvu file. The ext was hidden due to long filename and hence my misinterpretation.

I have also tried JE-comics and the effect was just as good as a normal cbz.

My apologies again..

Yeah I've settled on using JE-Comics and a full screen ipdf mod.
