Deleting from Calibre

Hi
I am very new to ebook readers and Calibre.

I have put all the books that are in Calibre on my Sony reader.

Do I now delete the books in Calibre?

I can't see the point in keeping them really, tho I may be over looking something important lol

Thanks xxx

What you do with the books in Calibre is up to you. However Sony devices have been known to crash and in worst cases lose some of their contents so why worry about the small amount of disk space required to keep copies in calibre.

Yes.......its called "backing up your books"

If you accidentally delete one, or lose your reader, where will you be?
