command line linux version

as i understand, there is a mac OS X version of isiloX - wouldn't it be relatively easy to build a command line linux version?

background: i try to export as much tasks from my own box to our inhouse server (living in a house with a lot of geeks ,we certainly have a server ). this way i could run the scheduled updates on the server too..

regards,

p_
