Have a Kindle/Just bought a Kobo
I love my kindle but want the option of borrowing books from Canadian public library system too. American public libraries are not open to Canadian kindle owners as far as I am aware. That is why I got a Kobo.
I have not set up my Kobo yet. Before doing that, I need to know if either Kindle readers will be accommodated by Canadian libraries in the near future, or if Canadian kindle owners can borrow ebooks from American public libraries. |

Well you could go the deDRM way but that isn't really legal, but if you delete them after three weeks I don't really think it's morally wrong.
I think you can borrow Kindle books from the states. But you would have to pay a yearly membership for a foreigners Library card, or something like that. |
