@knc1: Hey! I didn't say non-alcoholic, I just said no wine & no beer... that leaves a lot of stuff to choose from .
On a more on topic note, I just switched the version tag on the simple usbnet package to 1.1.N, to avoid confusion with Yifan's original package . |

The "Huh!" was meant to say "if they are both the same files, then why would NiLuJe's work differently than mine?" - and that was what all the rest of the post was about. But of course, I still don't understand why you don't eat all of those delicious french foods!? |

@ixtab: Yeah, I realized that's what you probably meant when I finished writing the answer... Oh, well . Might help someone else understand .
That led me to the PEBKAC conclusion, because the script is so very simple (and atomic, if it switched usbnet, it switched iptables too), that it's either that or a volumd/pmond quirk . That stuff tastes like, well, nothing! It's all in the seasoning! I could just 'eat' straight gravy, same effect ^^. Now, foie gras (duck/goose liver), on the other hand... That, I love ^^. Tried uninstalling and then once again w/simple_usbnet_1.1, confirmed PEBKAC. sorry for false report. md5sum doesn't lie, of course.
Anyway, thx again. Quote:

No beret??! Ah, whatever. But... do you own paints and gloves to make at least a semi-authentic miming performance?

Hi,
I can't install the usbnetwork, it says error:3. The jailbreak was fine. I have a Touch 5.1.2. Thanks. |

Wow, thank you so much for making this so simple! This was easier than rooting my android phone.

Thanks a lot, it worked.
I don't know if this is the right place, but let me ask you about the backup. Finally after much work I could do the .bin backcups, but I'm not sure if I did it right, because they don't have a single byte. This is what I get from command line Quote:

Forget the thread you found those directions in - no netcat required for backups.
Instead install the USBnetworking (from top post) and make your backups via ssh. Last edited by knc1; 10-11-2012 at 09:06 AM. |
