Americans tend to get confused when the term state is used because we have a federal system and a state system. What most countries call provinces, we call states.
The terminology for various political institutions is different in every country. The President of the US is very different than the President of Russia and France. There are similarities in the concepts but there are very real differences as well. Given that most US schools do a crap job of teaching US government trying to explain the differences in other democracies can be challenging. |

True, but those 5 pages are filled by different sites announcing that the books are finally available. The other example didn't make the news.

and if you change the wording, as Harry did, to Harry Potter download you will find them very easily.

My point was that it is a very natural search term to use if you're looking for a download. Hence, my suspicion is that it's a term that a great many people will use it.

Before the book was actually released you didn't need to add download to the search term and the torrent sites would come up. Now, because of the release and news associated with it, you do.
I would imagine that most people looking to download anything from the web would include download in their search. |

"[BOOK AUTHOR/BOOK TITLE] ebook download" is not something someone would normally type if they were trying to find where they could legally purchase an ebook. ...Just sayin'. So it's hardly surprising that illicit search criteria returns illicit results, is it?
So in this new DNS blocking/filtering world, what, exactly, should be the top returned results when someone does a Google search on "harry potter ebook download"? |

When I tried that exact quote, the first SIX results all pointed to Amazon. Seven was Pottermore. I didn't look past that. |

I would have thought "buy" would be used more than "download", or just "Harry Potter ebook". But Google does helpfully suggest "free download" in a dropdown as additional words you might want to add to your search.
