Thanks for the correct link. I gave the wrong one just to see if anyone reads my posts. Now I know that at least one person does. ha

Believe it or not, I do check my links before I post. On the Whispersync deals, however, I've gotten into the habit just of making sure that the Amazon and Audible links are not transposed. I'll have to mend my ways.

Unfortunately, there's not much that I reasonably can do about the repeat fiction freebies. With me being a non-fictionista as I am, I don't normally view fiction books. I have to make a special point to look at some every now and then just so I'll have some WS deals to post.

LOL. Yes, your trees fall in the forest (i.e., you post) and they make a sound (I read them).

About the repeat freebies - don't get me wrong: I truly appreciate it when you and others post freebies, as you find them. After all, repeat freebies for some MobileReaders are first-time freebies for others! (Any snarkiness you detected was directed at Amazon, not you!)

I read your post too!! I clicked on the book link (didn't really care about this audiobook) but just assumed that the sale had finished already, as there was a definite non-zero price on the book.

I've looked at the new link, but apparently I already bought this book in November. Oh well!

Tantor Media's New $6.99 Downloads Sale, on Firsts in a Series.
Tantor Media is having a sale that they're calling "New Year New Series." They have 522 books, which are the firsts in a series, that they are offering for $6.99.

With these being the firsts in a series only, don't expect to find any non-fiction books among the selection (popular fiction books are in series much more commonly than popular non-fiction books). They'll almost certainly all be fiction.

This sale is good for the rest of this month.

I consider $6.99 each a pretty good price for decent audio downloads, although I've certainly gotten spoiled to rock-bottom prices because of the likes of Audible Daily Deals and Whispersync deals.

Yep only the ones on the sale page are eligible.
I wish they'd stop with these limited choice sales they never choose books I want I generally read mystery/thrillers so that knocks the 200 down to about 44. It feels like they have killed the spend 4 credits get $10 promo that they used to run which is a great pity it was my favourite sale.
