Levels with headings
Hi,
This might be intended, but recently, I've downloaded an epub from Gutenberg.org with the following sequence of headings: <h2>Text 1</h2> <h1>Text 2</h1> <h3>Text 3</h3> <h3>Text 4</h3> ... <h3>Text N</h3> When I create a create a table of contents from all headings, the <h3>-heading of "Text 3" and the <h3>-headings of "Text 4" to "Text N" are placed on different levels (<h3>-headings of "Text 4" to "Text N" are placed as sub-headings of "Text 3"), instead of placing them on the same level as "Text 3". Works as designed for Auto Generated TOC from Headers (Same thing goes for Sigil )
You might try some of the Options available in the TOC Tool (the toy block with a T) Also available from the Main GUI |

Just though it is strange that consecutive h3-headings are not placed on the same level. If you remove the initial h2-heading, then all h3-headings are placed on the same level.

IIRC same level headings should not become nested -- I'll look at it in detail when I have some time.

That only applies to conversions, I am assuming the OP is talking about the ToC tool in the editor.

The one issue I have tripped (and can't describe the actual steps to duplicate): I have flipped the order of a selected group trying to use the D&D nest P1 c1 c2 c3 ended up with (and not nested), which is a pain to undo (no sort selected) P1 c3 c2 c1 |
