PRS-300 Frozen on

I've got a book I opened, I guess it's corrupt. I tried to turn the page (it zoomed in to medium, went down the page fine), and now my reader's been stuck on for nine hours on this damned page. I tried the reset button. I tried plugging it in. What else is there I can do?

Just a quick question. Are you trying to open a pdf file? Or what type of book file are you trying to open and where did you get it?

From what I've seen it seems that charging, or making sure you are fully charged will remedy many problems. The reader may in fact be off, but the screen is displaying the last image. Just spitballing here.

Ok, so wierdest thing. I forgot to tell you guys, but 2 days of leaving it on, it finally turned off. Don't know why. After plugging it back in, it responded, I removed the books, and converted the pdf to text with a converter. Problem solved, though I don't have the foggiest how.

Great Glad to hear you sorted it, Go figure though as to how these things happen !

Mine didn't recover, It's being replaced thankfully, and is on the way back to them right now, it will get there tomorrow ........ So SOON get my new one .... I HOPE !
