Smile Books were once a New Fangled technology too

Some of you may have already seen this video. Even if you have it remains entertaining, and those that have not seen it are in for a treat.

It's a nice reflection on how new technology -- especially reading technology -- can befuddle users.

That is funny....and formally being in help desk I can SOOOOOOO relate to that.

along those lines, until I read "The Adventures of English", it never occurred to me the problems of people trying to come up with spelling of a language. I couldn't even fathom of problems until my daughter sent me the Text Msg: "Dad, Cn U snd m $?"

When I was in college, I sent my dad a letter that read:

"No Mon, No Fun
Your Son"

He replied:

"To bad, So sad
Your Dad"

When my son was young, I gave him some money for getting a good grade in a class he hated. He looked at it and said, "so little?" I smiled, and took the money out his hand, put it back in my pocket, and said "yes, so little" as I walked away. He never complained again about a gift.
