Command Line Conversion

Hi.

I am trying to convert a large mobi file to epub via the ebook-convert Command Line tool. The problem is I cannot get the Command Line window to stay open. If closes almost immediately after opening. Anyone know what could be causing this and how to correct the problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You must be trying to launch it from Windows explorer. You have to open a command prompt window and type in the command.

One easy way to open a command window (Windows 7) is Start -> Search -> cmd

Under Windows XP this is Start -> Run -> cmd

Then "cd" to the folder containing the ebook. Finally, the tab key will complete partial filenames for you.
