sentences
i have a problem when converting with calibre with my sentences stopping halfway on a line and carrying on to the next line can anyone give advice to stop this happening

What original format, and just a one off, or several? (but yeah, as mentioned above, the unwrap factor should work, though sometimes there can be more exotic stuff that it does not)

It depends of course on what your source document is. If it is a doc file then you might find the the Atlantis word processor useful. Just select the whole document or (whatever part you want to remove the end of line carriage returns from), and press Ctrl+Shift+U. That removes all of them in a flash.
