I've pre-ordered one. My touch or keyboard will have to be sold methinks as I don't think I can justify 3 kindles.

I was amazed when I saw it. Luckily I was in time to cancel my US order. My UK one is due for delivery on the 25th.

I was inspired to wait, not so inspired with managing my gift cards, currently have 82 and a survey site has taken down amazon gift cards, I had 50 waiting for me there ( guess I will wait just a bit more.

Just to make sure:
You don't have to use gift cards.
You can do so, of course, if you want to.
But it's no necessity to purchase from Amazon, since the introduction of the international Kindles.
I've switched from Germany to US and back forth just 2 minutes ago, all with the very same German credit card. I've got an UK account as well. A friend of mine even has a Japanese account.

I know, but the gift cards are like free money in my case, just prizes and rewards.
Was considering PRS t2 Kobo Glo and Nexus 7. Glo is not available on amazon, nexus is a tablet, not that I need it that much and also much more expensive, prs is still expensive on amazon with sellers from Germany.
