How to block kindle games?

I do not now, nor will I ever, want games on my Kindle. Is there a way to block them from being shown in the Kindle store? It's really annoying when looking for books in the Kindle store and games are mixed in with the top paid books. Is there some way to block games from showing up in the Kindle store? There's gotta be a preference somewhere.

Try closing your [language edited by moderation team] eyes, [language edited by moderation team].

This works on a Kindle:
When you click on Kindle Top Sellers, you will see "View Top Sellers By Category" on the upper right.
Click on that, then click on "Kindle Books".

Even if you go to the dedicated Kindle books page, the games will be shown.

Being something new, amazon is going to push it for all its worth.

Just try to ignore the games and move on to the next.

on this page you can sort by "low to high" " high to Low" "best selling" or "publication date" on the right hand side, drop down menu....

I did that, but games are still showing up. In fact, at the top it is showing:

Kindle Store > Kindle Top 100 Paid > Books > All

and yet Scrabble is the #1 item. Try it out - maybe I'm the only one it's doing that for, who knows. Here's a screenshot:

Sorry about that!
Click "View Top Sellers By Category" a second time. You will get a list of genres. Click what you want, like Fiction, and the games will be gone!

Move out from the areas where they sell those games. Try Europe, and you won't ever see them!

If it bothers you that much, just return the kindle. Lots of readers that do not have games available.

can't you just ignore them?

after awhile you will end up with many things recommended such as *shudder* romances. nothing;s perfect
