Internal tags in PDB files

Hi,
I've a lot of PDB files with errors in title or author in the internal tags.
There are a solution to fix this tags writing the right words in Book Details Window of Calibre and save back the file to store changes in file internally?
Thanks

Changes to metadata are written to files in specific instances. Sending to device, saving to disk, downloading using the content server, emailing to name a few. Changing in the metadata window does not write the changes to the file itself.

Do realize that PDB is a container format and could have many different formats inside of it. Writing metadata may or may not be supported depending on what's in the PDB file. Also, different formats (not just PDB) support varying amounts of metadata inside of them.

Thank you,
I thought may be nice to save changes to the file itself by Calibre..
I've searched for a software to edit them but nothing found.
