BoB 50% off (+ 8% Rewards)
I think this is the best deal I've seen since BoB started its recent code splurge.

Mammoth Books seem gettable through them for us. Also I discovered not so long ago there are some Mammoth Books presents short stories. Multiple genres.
Wang's Carpets by Greg Egan, Merlin's Gun by Alastair Reynolds for some science fiction examples. Will be a great deal with this. |

Actually it's net 50%. 42% discount + 8% rewards. Still a good deal.

If its NET 50% the text pasted out of that email above lied to me! It says 50% + 8%. There is/was another sale running which is 42+8. Unfortunlately I already bought all the non-agency books I was waiting on with all their other deals so can't test out if its really 50% :P.
Maybe someone else can confirm they get 50%? |

I received the same email. It is somewhat deceptive how they calculate 50%. Unfortunately, it is 42% + 8% =50%.
They still haven't removed Hachette titles from Agency pricing yet. |

Yeah - Australian Kobo gives prices in Australian dollars - so getting US dollar prices that are lower than the Australian dollar prices and then getting a discount on top of 42 (best Kobo is 40 currently?) is very cool.

Keep in mind that the Kobo coupon discounts are in addition to any discounts already on the price, but BoB coupon discounts are off the original price. For example, if a $10 book is discounted to $7.50 at each store and you then apply a 40% off coupon, at BoB, the final price is $6 (40% off $10) and you add $.80 to your rewards account (a total of %48 off using their math). At Kobo, the $7.50 price is discounted a further 40% to $4.50 for a final discount of 55%.
