Does sony e-reader support html hyperlink?

Just wonder whether sony e-reader can jump between html files using hyperlink because it doesn't have a touch screen. If so, it would be great to use it as an offline web browser. Thanks.

The Reader doesn't support HTML files directly. It does support hyperlinks in PDF documents (but only within a document) and I believe also within Sony's native "BBeB" format too. The way they work is that one moves a highlight cursor between the links on the currently visible page using the "joystick" control on the Reader, and presses it to activate the link. Links are used extensively within, for example, the Reader's manual which is supplied as a PDF file.

Thanks, HarryT. I think then it is possible to convert offline web content to PDF or BBeB format where the hyperlink can be used.

That should, indeed, be a trivial conversion.
