I wonder if Sony have seen this?
The daily mail have placed a large picture of a Sony PRS505 in an article about Amazon removing purchased content from the kindle without customer consent resulting in a class action by a student against Amazon.
The photo caption appears to imply that Amazon are 'hacking' into customers' Sony 505 e-readers Bet Sony are pleased for the publicity! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1203527/ Click me Last edited by columbus; 08-01-2009 at 06:13 AM. |

Well, as the old saying goes: "If you've seen one reading device, you've seen them all" ...

Those journalists!
Phew! The illustration clearly illustrates how much they care about the accuracy of the information they publish in their rag. All you need to find out something is very wrong is to look at the picture saying SONY in big letters. |

Of course they printed a picture of the Sony...it's so much prettier than a Kindle.

God what a horrible article. This person got all their facts wrong.
How could they misconstrue the facts so much to say amazon hacked in to the kindle ti delete pirated books? Quote:
In this case the whole story is a blow to the ebook industry. =X= |

well the kindle isn't in the UK.
the UK only has the 505 (and a few others but the 505 in the uk is the big one) if they showed a picture of a kindle people will have no idea what it is. but atleast a few of them have seen the 505. also the story takes place in the states, so anyone reading the article would say. silly americans! |
