Kurze Meldung:
Kindle und Cover sind angekommen und ich bin begeistert.

Der Kindle ist viel leichter, filigraner und schöner als ich angenommen hatte. Ich hatte mir auch die Tasten viel größer vorgestellt. Das grüne Cover ist wirklich schön, gut verarbeitet und die Beleuchtung ist klasse.

Neues Wörterbuch (Eng-Ger) ist auch schon eingerichtet. Collections habe ich auch schon angelegt.

Also alles erstmal sehr schön.

(Das einzige Problem war wieder Hermes. Ich muss da noch eine Mail an Amazon schreiben. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass die die Pakete einfach vor die Tür legen. Die kann doch jeder mitnehmen.)

Das lohnt sich wirklich, auch wenns nicht billig ist, dafür aber Quallität.

Nachdem ich gestern schon ausversehen mit dem Notebook ein Ebook gekauft habe, ist mir das mit dem Kindle heute auch passiert. Ich muss da besser aufpassen.

Ich glaube, das kommt daher, das Amazon immer gleich die kompletten Verlagsrechte aufkauft, und dann alles komplett durch den *.azw Schredder laufen lässt,ohne mal genauer zu gucken, was sie da eigentlich anbieten
Anders kann ich mir zumindest nicht erklären, dass es Kunst-Bildbände, Farbenlehre und andere für E-Ink nur mässig geeignete Inhalte gibt.

Die P-Version dieses Atom-Lehre Buches kostet etwa genausoviel, ist halt ein extrem spezielles Fachbuch und nur Teil einer ganzen Reihe ähnlicher Titel.
Vor ein paar Monaten gabs im intl. Forum schonmal nen eigenen Thread dazu

Gegen dieses Hier ist es sogar noch ein ziemliches Sonderangebot
