Hi Jacques and welcome to MobileRead. Are eBooks popular in South Africa?

Ah Kaap Staadt,

I lived there for many, many years until we left in 1980, and have many fond memories.

Welcome, and hope that you find many free books which you will enjoy from this site.

Hi All
Thanks for the warm welcome.
@cassidym we try hard to get the public more aware of cellbooks, a major Insurance company just sign up with us to distribute a cellbook on Aids/HIV.
If I'm allowed I will later post a press release here and a link to the HIV book, we have a BIG problem with HIV in South Africa so we try and get the word out.
Be back later have to run.
Cheers
