Kobo Glo Mac issues
Hi,
i have a Kobo glo thats work on my pc but when i connect it to my mac it does notrecognize the device. emailed kobo but still waiting for reply. im using the usb cable that came with the device. any ideas?? thank you William |

Yes i can, but not sure if i should be messing with it. the error comes up. The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer. then 3 options Initialize.. ignore and eject.
Clicking on Initialize takes me to disk utility. |

will have another look this afternoon, been checking apple but cannot see to much, occasional mention of drives not mounting
do you have any other external drive devices you can check (ones that show as FAT16, Camera?), I connected all my drives but they are formatted in Apple format so doesn't really help |

FAT16 should work fine in OSX, so that is not the problem.
If you select the drive and click the Mount button in the top, does it then appear in Finder? |

Try putting it back in the Windows PC and doing a check disk on the drive. While not a Mac user, the errors make me thing the filesystem is dirty. A check disk should fix this.

trying to mount it does nothing.
