How to use "catalog CSV/XML" plugin?

Hello,
I want to use Calibre by multi users via (local) network.
I want to change book list by each user.
I have 2 ideas.
(A)implement "Catalog plugin"
(B)arrange opds server liblary

(Q1)"Catalog plugin". "Catalog" mean book list?
(Q2)how to use Catalog plugin?
I have "catalog CSV/XML" plugin. but cannot get csv.

There isn't an optional "catalog plugin." There is a feature in calibre for creating a catalog of all your books. There is even a sub-forum here dedicated to this topic. Check out the sticky post (Creating Catalogs: Start here) in that sub-forum for more information.

Thanks for useful pointer!
I thing it is difficult to call it from web browser. not like OPDS.

For OPDS check out the other Sticky in the same area, Calibre2opds - OPDS catalogs from your Calibre library.

Or you can use the Calibre Content server to retrieve books from your library via any web browser.
