New version freezing
As the title suggests, I downloaded the latest version (0.7.44) today and it's constantly freezing on me. Is it possible to return to an earlier version ? I can't seem to find one on the Calibre website.

There was a problem with some installs and 0.7.44 it has been fixed. Uninstall 0.7.44 then reinstall this version found in this ticket and you should be ok.

A suggestion for the future: When downloading calibre installation files, save the file instead of running it (for convenience, I save it to my desktop but you could have a folder for that somewhere). Once you have installed calibre from it, keep the installation file in a folder somewhere. This way, if you download a version that will not play well with your computer, you will already have an earlier version available to revert to if you ever need to without having to hunt for and download it.
