I didn't actually vote for any of the categories that are sharing or almost sharing the lead. Of the leaders, I would probably pick the Patricia Clark. Lots of great stuff in there.

Should the Library win, I hope those nominating will remember to indicate +50, +70, etc.

If it is a tie for Science and Patricia Clarke Memorial Library can we just combine the categories into one? It would be interesting to read a 100 year old science text book to see what we have learned in the last century.
/No, I don't know if there actually are any in the library. |

Personally, I think it would be nice to have a Patricia Clark category once a year now that I think about it. It's such a fantastic resource and so much effort has been expended by our members to make it what it is. It seems fitting to honour it at least once a year via the book club.
Anyway - just a thought. If it wins I'd probably nominate something by Peter Watts - like Blindsight. Nice to read something that an author has actually donated to the public domain - and a sci-fi horror will please me immensely. |

I'm pulling for Mythology and Short Stories. At least my category is doing better than Fantasy.

Of the current leaders, I'm pulling for Science. But, if PCML wins, I'm leaning toward something like Caleb stated - authors who have donated books to the PD.
