The poem is "Parlement of Foules" or "Parlement of Birddes" by Geoffrey Chaucer.

Edit: Forgot to say it was for Richard II and his engagement to Anne of Bohemia.

Just thought I'd toss it up there even though it's 3 quizzes ago

You're right in every respect - even getting the name of the poem, which I thought was too difficult to ask for!

I think that TGS won that quiz, so over to him. Or I'll put up another later after getting the Gibbons one.

Almost right - the actual title of the song that everyone thinks of as Norwegian Wood is actually "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)".

Well, if we are on the topic of Japanese author's and their titles. Which author wrote a book with a title that could have been "Gentle Snow Fall"? What is the English title instead?

Sorry, I forgot I posed a question.
The title in English is The Makioka Sisters by Junichiro Tanizaki and the original title is Sasameyuki which means gentle snow fall.
It always struck me as a tad odd how the title was changed.

She awakes, I touch her and she spreads her legs apart. We are both nervous but I continue. Finally the white liquid comes.
