Now without the card slot, you get about 500MB available for side loading. Basically worthless. That and the way B&N tosses up junk on the UI from the site. Forget it. Too expensive for shuch a mess.

Not "worthless" at all, Jon. Half a gig a storage is more than enough for the majority of users.

Of course if you need more, it wouldn't be a good buying choice, but to write it off as "worthless" is shortsighted.
