UK Availability

I notice Entourage will be demonstrating the Edge in London on 19th/20th April. Does this mean that UK availability is imminent or are we going to have to wait till Q3/Q4?

I'm SO desperate for one of these that it's starting to hurt !

Maybe, given the ash, Edge won't be coming to London tomorrow after all.

But come on, Entourage, please do give us an estimate of UK availability

Since there are threads asking about availability in the UK and in France already I'm not going to start a new one but put

my request for availability in Europe (in my case Germany)

right here. Feel challenged. There is am market over here right now too.

Regards pirx

I recommend you have your friend unpack it and repack in another box. The customs label can then say "used electronics" and a lower cash value can be written. Just a suggestion. If it is left as shipped from Entourage, the value will be $500 and taxed accordingly.

Is it at least already clear that you can buy an Edge in Europe by the end of 2010?

all in my family love it for different reasons. there are few things we hope to see in the future software upgrades. those will make the edge perfect

I haven't heard that. What do you mean by "break down"? The screen cracks? The display degrades? I've had an iRex Iliad for years, used it daily, and the eInk display is as good as new.

my daughter (18 months on Sunday) is drawing cats on the e-ink everyday on the e-ink site. She in not gentle and she have been hitting it hard for the last two months. No breakage. Working just fine.
