What exactly are the issue of the Nook GlowLight?

There don't seem to be many problems with the Kobo Glo. Some have reported some bright pinpricks with the light on, others say those pinpricks are due to dust or a protective sheet people put onto the screen. I recall some people reporting a few "blotchy" areas with a yellow-ish blob... but I've only come across that once and it was exchanged for a perfect device no problem.

My personal experience is that my Glo screen is perfect and I'm extremely happy with it.

I think this is the Nook Glow screen issue thing http://www.the-digital-reader.com/20.../#.UO8e23d2FAY

When the screen get's whacked it causes really bad bright spots.

I haven't heard any news about this happening to the Kobo Glo or the Kindle Paperwhite.

I haven't managed to poke any holes in the screen on my Kobo after 2 months of use, and I did accidentally put a hole in my Nook GL with the pointy edge of a USB cable connector. I think B&N did their light diffusion layer differently than Amazon or Kobo.
