Calibre and creating Kindle collections on the PC?

Hi,
I wonder if it is in Calibre's plans to add the ability of creating and managing Kindle "collections" on the PC - Amazon had the great idea of only letting people create collections on the (clunky interface) device.
There was a thread with a script to do something similar:

Kovid has already stated that he has not found any way to create the collections from the Calibre end. I am sure if someone finds a way to do it; what needs to be done; and let's Kovid know the details then collection support will appear.
