Das Chipset im Gerät ist der Allwinner B288. Es war ja bekannt, dass das Upgrade der Internas im Vergleich zu älteren Geräten mehr RAM ist. Das gleiche Chipset ist schon im InkPad 3 und Color im Einsatz.

Ich bin mal gespannt ob der RAM bei PDFs vielleicht mehr Geschwindigkeit bringt, das fand z.B. beim InkPad 3 Pro immer sehr träge, auch wenn es mit dem KOReader auch deutlich flotter geht. Ehrlich gesagt finde ich aber, dass sich ein Gerät immer an seiner Standardsoftware messen muss und Endanwender-Anpassungen eben genau das sind.

Der B288 wurde also bereits in älteren PBs verbaut, danke für die Info!

Ich bin kein Riesenfan dieser günstigen CPUs, aber letztendlich muss der eReader auch bezahlbar bleiben und PB will auch noch daran verdienen. Es mag auch noch andere Gründe geben, die für dieses Chipset sprechen.

Ich kann nur hoffen, dass die neue Software etwas mehr auf Touren kommt. Grundsätzlich war ich nicht unzufrieden, aber wenn sie einen Tacken schneller wäre als bisher, würde ich auch häufiger in der Standardsoftware lesen.

Meine PDF-Zeiten sind leider vorbei, die Unizeiten im Urnebel verschwunden Aber mehr RAM ist immer gut, ich drücke dir die Daumen.

Das Update 6.5 muss bei PDF wohl enorm in der Performance verbessert haben, da habe ich gestern noch was bei Youtube zu gesehen. Kann ich leider selber nicht prüfen, da ich mein Inkpad 3 Color nicht mehr habe, daher ohne Gewähr:

Die Aussagen zur Onleihe sind hahnebüchen, interessant sind wirklich nur die Aussagen zum verbesserten Kontrast und PDF Reader.
