Vox not reading Margins-help!

Hello, I'm new but I'm a bit desperate. (Not sure if this should be in here or a certain development page! Sorry!)

I've recently built a very pretty epub. It works on almost all devices wonderfully, just the way I want it, even the old Kobo e-ink device. However once I put it in Kobo Vox, it's horrendous. Can any one help me figure this out?

Here is my CSS:

Spoiler:

I can't help, but which reader are you using? The native Vox eReader? Have you tried Aldiko or Overdrive?

I'm using the native reader. I kind of need to use the native reader. I tried viewing it on an android phone using Aldiko and it still doesn't read the margins or doesn't look as nice. I haven't heard of Overdrive before either. I'm really new to all this and I've ran so many tests recently...but this morning I just got the Vox to test and it's so disheartening to have done so much work and it just doesn't work on one device/reader.

The publisher is adamant that my epub works cross platform on all devices...

The Kobo application on the Kobo Vox generally ignores the CSS in the epub, and does its own thing. You can actually download 2 versions of most books from Kobo - one that goes directly to the Kobo, and one in real epub format for other readers.

If you want to see the epub on the Vox as you created it, use the Mantano application. There is a free version, that you can get from http://slideme.org/application/mantano-reader-free

I was afraid of that. I really thought I was doing something wrong. So I shouldn't use the Kobo native reader at all? Is there some type of general format available for us to follow for the Kobo? Or does Kobo really want us to go through them to make their epubs?

Should I try recreating the book in skeleton format for the Kobo (and have another file just for the Kobo)?

Thank you so much for your help!
