zoom pictures etc on Kindle 4 NT ???

Have a Kindle 3 and sometimes make use of the picture viewer functions (eg toggle to full screen/acual size - F key/C key, zoom in/out Q/w key etc) ... since the K4 NT has no keyboard I assume this isnt possible ??? ... or is there another way ....???
Reason for asking is pure curiosity ... plus I may one day wish to upgrade

I don't use the picture viewer by itself, but you can zoom images within a book by using the 5-way Controller to select them then clicking the center button.

more interested in large pictures (eg scanned diagrams) than pictures embedded in a book ... I sometimes use the picture viewer to load a large pic of a diagram ... then use the F key to go to full screen mode and the 4 way to scroll round the pics to see the detail ... can this be done on the K4 ... anyone know??

ok - having read the K4 users guide I now realise that the K4 has a 'software' keypad ... anyone know if the above keystrokes on the 'softpad' do the same things in terms of zoom etc as the 'hard' keys on the K3 ??? Assuming the OS on K3 and K4 are similar should do ??? If a K4 owner could have a play with a few big pix on their kindle ?

This is something I hadn't thought about.

The Kindle Keyboard (and older) has a lot of keyboard shortcuts (listed on https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Amaz...oard_Shortcuts)

A lot of these wont work on any of the new Kindles (including the Touch model) I assume.

Think we need someone with the hardware to work thru them ! Offers anyone???... maybe they work using the software keyboard? I do find many of the shortcuts useful on the K3 ...

The on screen keyboard on the K4 NT does not function in Picture Viewer, so your answer is that the K3 and older PV shortcuts do NOT work on the K4.

For a list of K4 NT keyboard shortcuts (it still has 4 buttons plus a 5-way controller) see the Tips thread.
