All kinds of "trendy" words that suddenly appear in everyone's speeches as if all the speakers went to the same marketing seminar.
24/7 go-to guy proactive paradigm And this is more used in academic circles: unpack (as in "Let's unpack that statement.") And the word "read" when used as a noun. Last edited by WT Sharpe; 03-22-2012 at 01:30 AM. |

I’ll second (third? fourth?) 'paradigm' and add:
'Got' 'Source' as a verb – "I’ve sourced that item . . ." 'Decimate' to describe drastic losses – deci-mate = lose/remove 10% |

Charity. Always makes me think of the cold which I hate. My grandmother would say when she was cold that "it is as cold as charity". A good description of charity in many cases

Vegetable lover!
Unless the person being spoken to is so young that in order to get them to eat they must be made to believe believe a spoonful is an airplane flying into their mouth, the word "veggies" should avoided at all costs.
Call any vegetable, and the chances are good that the vegetable will respond to you. |
