Äpfel und Birnen sind beides Obst, und können beide gegessen werden. Also ist ein Vergleich völlig legitim.

Vor allem, wenn jemand seinen angebisssenen Apfel als die bessere Birne verkaufen will.

Wenn man jetzt die Begriffe als solches anschaut, fragt man sich was ein "Tablet PC" den auszeichnet den der Kindle hat ein OS -> Linux soviel ich weiss, hat Speicher, einen Prozessor (glaub halb so schnell als das iPad) ein Display usw. was ein Tablet PC auch hat.

Ich bin mit Steve aber nicht einer Meinung. Bücher gehören auf den Kindle.
Magazine, Comics, Mail, Internet ... das kann das iPad besser.

Eben und da frage ich mich wirklich was im eBook Bereich "derzeit" beim iPad besser sein soll. Selbst die Buchanzahl im iBooks Store ist lächerlich, vom Preis wollen wir gar nicht reden. Den diese Seitenumblätteranimation ist ja nett, aber nach ein paar Seiten nervt sie ungemein. Beim Kindle macht es nur klick klick und geht viel einfacher von der Hand. Aber eben persönlich persönlich... ich weiss

Nichts! Vielleicht doch, man bekommt deutsche Bücher.
Aber wer sagt denn, dass die iPad Besitzer in der Bahn nur Bücher lesen?
Da passt der Beitrag doch vorne und hinten nicht.

Wenn es nur darum geht Bücher zu lesen, ist ein e-Reader natürlich die richtige Wahl.

Sehe ich auch so. Einzige Schnittmenge = Zeitungen. Die finde ich teilweise auf dem Kindle sehr gut (FAZ im Mobi Format = super) aber auch auf dem iPad (Spiegel mit Multimedialen Inhalten oder die neue Auto Bild sind super Unterhaltsam und ebenfalls super).

Für den Rest gibt es jeweils ein gerät welches in seinem Revier Top ist aber sicher nicht in Beiden mit Erfolg wildert.
