Post Copying files FROM eDGe TO a PC

The User guide isn't clear and I haven't figured out a way to do this. For instance, I would like to copy the User Guide to a PC. Is this supported?

The User Guide is a bit trickier than other files due to how we have included it on the eDGe. However you are still able to put it on your computer.

1. You can download the guide in either PDF or EPUB form from our website through this URL: https://www.entourageedge.com/suppor...kbarticleid=80

2. From the eDGe, you will have to do the following: Open the User Guide through the Help icon, which can be found by selecting the eDGe icon on Navigation Bar at the bottom of the screen. Once the guide is open on the eInk screen, you need to add the file to your library by selecting the icon of the "books with a plus sign" at the top of the eInk screen. Once the guide has been added to your library, you can export it to either internal storage, thumb drive, or SD Card. This is done by checking the box to the right of the item (multiple items can be selected at once) and then selecting the Export button that appears at the bottom of the screen once an item is selected. Once the guide is exported to a storage medium, if you connect your eDGe to your computer you will be able to see the guide and copy it over.

Please note that the user guide is only available as an EPUB on the eDGe.

That said you can use a similar process to copy other files to your computer.

If the files are located in your library, you will need to export them to device storage or a removable media. This is done by checking the box to the right of the item (multiple items can be selected at once) and then selecting the Export button that appears at the bottom of the screen once an item is selected. Once the files have been exported, if you connect your eDGe to a computer you will be able to see them.

If you are still unable to see the files on your computer even when they have been exported from your library, or they are already located in the device storage, please contact our support team either by submitting a trouble ticket, email, or by phone.
