If you look up JD Robb the last 20 or so all say CAN ONLY

I won't see the Can Only, I'm in Canada that's why I was curious.

I noticed that a lot of the free books that were there when OP posted are gone as of yesterday.

Must be the agency thing. I hope everybody that wanted them grabbed them when they were there.

They've now duplicated many books for Canada. If you see a book with US only or CAN only, you should search for the version available in your country.

The Sony e-bookstore is the worst implementation of database software I have ever seen. It takes no account of the products that are actually available to be sold to the logged in user; there is no way to browse the store without installing the reader software; the PC based reader software is beyond pathetic; the search tool is bizarre and user UNfriendly. And this is before tackling issues, like, 20 different titles in a series all having different prices and different geo-restrictions and different geo-list prices. Ughhh!

You can browse the Reader Store online from your PC without installing the Reader Library software. It is slower, and you are constantly reminded to download software, but it's there.

*edit* the geographical restrictions are not shown while browsing online.

I forget which day I had found the free books and gone online to snag them, but in the middle of trying to get one of the books, it suddenly showed up as unavailable. So I got all the ones I wanted except for that one

bummer.

The titles I originally posted are no longer free, one title is now being sold for $9.99, so I hope you got them while you could.
Now finally Rides a Dread Legion by Raymond E Feist and Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr which were offered elsewhere for free are now available on the Bargain Priced page.
Better be quick after the last lot disappeared so quickly.
