And I know the links work in ADE on my PC.
this was promised at one point but not delivered so far. The 6 inch device is a little behind its little brother. Hopefully this will be corrected.

The PocketPro reads SDHC easily. I've got a 8G unit in it, and I use the SD card in my camera when I run out of memory.

I assume you are talking about the older 6" unit.

Even the 6" can use SDHC cards although they don't officially support above 4G, they will work.

% of book read

It would be good if the pez could calculate and display the percentage of a book read, at the touch of a button. Pleaze!

I like to see how far I am progressing through a book.

It displays the page if you press the OK/Select button. Not a percentage though. I hate the way the Kindle2 displays the "position" and a percentage.

Thanks Kenny for your reply. Yes, I know the ok button displays page number out of how many. Would be nice if there was an Option of % available as well for those that choose to see it this way.

For the PocketPro

1. Ability to delete files on reader
2. Clock display (even if its tiny)
3. 8 zoom levels for all

Those are my wishes for future firmware updates.

I just bought a PocketPro and these are the things that bug me the most.

Please can the ability to use spacing and special characters in folder and file names be made so it doesn't remove any bookmarks?

Please can you fix the links in the Ezreader Basic for epub and pdf

Chuck

Due to the time and everything else in my life I have decided and purchased a netbook. I needed to be able to read PDFs at a size that I could see and still be able to see the columns and the tables. So as a birthday present to myself I ordered a Dell Mini 10V. Seeing that is where I work I was able to get a good value for my money (cheaper than and of the ereaders that I was looking at.

This does not mean that I am leaving my EZreader behind. It is still my ebook reader of choice but not for PDFs.

Chuck

2) Add a 'back' function from hyperlink jumps (long press 9?)
I think this may have been fixed on the Pocket Pro. I'm not sure if it was just fixed in the last firmware revision, or if I'm just slow in figuring it out. Anyway, this weekend I was reading one of the Discworld books and I noticed that after I follow a hyperlink, the anchor text now shows as hyperlinked text. Selecting it will take you back to your original location. This is the only ePub book I have with hyperlinks, so maybe others can confirm that this has been corrected.

Agreed...the ability to set contrast levels in reading (I know it's there for picture viewing). My request isn't specific to ePubs...I would like the contrast option across all platforms.

An option to turn off the green LED when turning pages.. especially if you're reading in the horizontal plane.. because the light is then at the bottom of the page where your eyes are when you turn it.. I cover it with my finger, but will probably have to resort to a piece of tape soon.

Also as said above, please please please, darker text contrast for all formats.. This should be an option in the system settings where an example passage is shown, and you adjust till you are "comfortable" with it and then OK the setting and it'll stay permanently like that unless you decide to change it.

I haven't had problems with contrast. At least not yet. I do agree it would be a good feature, though. Each of us is different. Why let someone else decide what is comfortable for us reading wise?

<snip>.
I am with you on the LED for your reason (really bright)
and
because you can not tell what color it is when viewed off axis.
Is it RED, is it Green or is it AMBER (mix of RED and Green?)
A diffuser jewel would probably fix both concerns.
