PRS-600 - How to load docs

Hi all,

Just a quick question to those of you who have used Sony's PRS-600.

Can you view pdf files simply by putting them on an SD card and popping it in the expansion slot or do you have to add the files through their software?

Thanks in advance,
presuki.

You can certainly add files directly to an SD card, yes.

I have tried loading a few pfd files on to the Sony 600 reader. One was the instruction manual for my digital camera and the other was a pdf file of a text book I purchased.

The text of the camera manual was soooooo tiny I couldn't read it. And if I increased the font size I lost the diagrams. However, landscape mode was better but not ideal.

The reference book (about Cascading Style Sheets) was in colour. The drawings and a lot of the text. Some of the text is very hard to read because the reader is only black and white.

So I must admit I was a bit disappointed by that.

However, fiction books in epud format are usually fine.
