Live library updates
Not sure that is the best title but I couldn't think of what to call it
I have a Mac laptop that I dual-boot Mac OS 10.7 and Windows 7 on. I use SugarSync to keep Calibre the same in both systems. I recently setup a VPN and Dynamic DNS so I can remote access my home systems; this subsequently allows me to access my calibre library when I'm not home. No problem so far. The thing is, my home server, in order to run access the library remotely I do run Calibre with SugarSync on it also. This works fine, but I have to shut down Calibre on the server before I make any changes to the library on my laptop, otherwise the server Calibre doesn't update. After that long-winded explanation, what I want to know is, is there a way to leave Calibre running on the server AND keep it synced with my main library on the laptop? Best regards to the Calibre community, Edward |
