Think so.
They need to drop prices to sell what's on stock.
Nobody will buy a PRS-300 when you can get an 350 for the same price.
It's always the same game.

If they do what's rumored, that is, "touchscreenize" 300 (I cross my fingers for it not to happen, but... ), it will be came the last mochigan the same way as 505 and will probably cost more than 350.

I love my 300 (it gets more use than my 505 now, even at home where I would have expected to use the bigger model more) and if they do try to put a stupid glossy touchscreen on a new model to replace it, I wouldn't be interested.

I still think that Sony went backwards with their touchscreen devices. A glossy screen and loss of contrast is not what I want to see on a next-gen model.

Agreed. It is the only reason I bought the 300 instead of the 600
