in my experience - when viewed with ADE / Sony , hyperlinks are always blue and underlined - no matter what you do in CSS

Thanks: useful info for a newbie. After producing 50 or so print book layouts, this is the nail in the coffin of my junkie-like desire to control layout

Be prepared for more CSS disappointments.

There are Manufacturers that believe THEY know best and choose to :
1) Ignore (some, Basic) valid EPUB2 CSS instructions
2) Implement those instructions poorly or incorrectly (not consistent with the Common Browsers)
3) Provide no user choice of 'As delivered' or supplied overrides

Spend some time reading down in the EPUB section and you will start to see what the gotcha's of designing books for various readers.
