Original Arc (Android 4.1.1) has Heartbleed bug
I don't think this is a big issue though, like it is for servers. The main issue I see is connecting to "hacked" servers with HTTPS, which can grab random 64K bytes from your browser.

Bloomberg first reported on the 11th (includes link to Google). Ars Technica has details of vulnerability.

Perhaps an update was released at some point in between the fifth day after Heartbleed went public and now, nearly 3 months later.

This update of 4.2.2 was made a year ago in france !! Waiting the next update now.

And perhaps the Arc 10 HD is not the "original Arc" the OP mentioned.

Yes, the original shipped with 4.0.x, and the final update is 4.1.1 from last year.

I doubt Heartbleed is a big issue, I've never seen reports of it being exploited via the browser.

Hello not in france where the original shipped with the last update is 4.2.2 for everyone from the fnac. With Heartbleed all you password can be hack and use for oser usage.
It is not a big problem .....

Then France did not get the original Arc. Wikipedia says the second generation shipped with 4.2.2.

yes I confirm. But something happened on the French market, All kobo 7 inch tablet disappear, they are all out of sell since December or January.
It is the same in you country. Does Kobo stop tablet ?
