LG Sells Solar Powered eBook

Take a look at this http://www.lgdisplay.com/homeContain...ec=E&kinds=IN1

Before you get upset that I'm posting to the wrong forum, zoom in on that eBook in the picture. Is that a PRS-505? Is LG announcing that it's selling the 505, now that Sony has new models?

More than likely this is what happens when Public Relations folks don't know enough about the products they are writing about, and they really need a picture for a story.

It looks like it is either a cover for the device or is a device that is being compared to the 505. The photo is not clear in this regard.

My Sony Readers are already (optionally) solar-powered. I have the PowerMonkey foldable solar charger and a Sony PSP tip attachment. I haven't done the math, but I think it would take less than 5-6 hrs of solar charging to add one day of battery life to the Reader.
