CLEARANCE on The Sony PRS-505 at Target

Target in Naples, FL is selling the PRS-505 for $196.

Apparently pricing is different depending on the store.

Target in Crystal, MN (store #3) was selling it for $237 and had one left last week.

Picked one up today for $196.98. They must have adjusted the price today as it was over $240 just yesterday.

Also got the lighted cover on clearance as well for $45.48.

Quite the deals!

In Arizona at Target mine was $195 and the cool lighted case was $45. Be patient. I called the morning I bought it and was quoted $237 but found it cheaper by that afternoon.

I'm still seeing alot of $240s. I got my hopes up too high. Houston sucks for these deals.

I just checked two of our local Targets here in Tucson and they sold out a couple of months ago. Maybe they were more popular here. I'll call a couple more Targets tomorrow, but don't hold out much hope to find one locally. The local Borders sent them back to where ever old stock goes for them.

just scored a silver 505 in Orlando Target for $196. they had 3 in stock. i was so tempted to buy them all, but dont know 2 people who i trust would pay me $200 for them (how do you explain to a non-ereader that they're getting a $300 ereader for $200?)

i've had the K2 for a few weeks, and hate the contrast, despite using the alternate font and the mighty bright light. i'll return the K2 and keep the 505. great deal!

El Paso Far Eastside Super Target had 3 at $195 each - now only 2 since I picked one up for my daughter for Christmas. They had the cover with the light for $45. Did not check the other 3 Targets since that is the one closest to me.

I was planning to get her the 300 but this price the 505 is hard to pass up. And with the added functionality of the memory cards she will be happier.

I have a lot of people who would. My mom's co-workers for one. I suggested they wait or could get the Pocket Pro like me. I wouldn't mind a 6" actually.

I just got one last night for $196 at a Target in Los Angeles. You can call in to the electronics dept. and they can let you know if they have them in stock before you drive down.
